July 10-14, 1938, the Howard Hughes and Harry Connor Record Flight around the World, mixed franking stationery cover 6c orange, uprated by three stamps, it was postmarked in New York on July 10, Le Bourget Airport, France on July 11 and upon arrival in New York on July 14, 1938. A Russian stamp was affixed commemorating landings in Moscow, Omsk and Yakutsk, blue cachet with flight itinerary and all appropriate markings, vertical fold away from the stamps, still VF, N. Mandrovski certificate
