Arctic and Antarctic Exploration - Collection 1954-70, over 180 postal history items, including 68 related to North Pole Stations, about 50 of which were really posted into the mail, among them four "First Postal Flight" covers of 1955-56 from Stations No.4-6, one forged cover from Station No.4, early correspondences include six items sent from North Pole No.5, five - from North Pole No.6, one - from North Pole No.7, representing postal history items sent from 16 Stations altogether; over 110 items related to Antarctic Stations, such as Mirny, Lazareva, Pionerskaya, Bellingshausen, Oasis and etc., most of those are souvenir production, which did not go through the mail; in addition 68 mint stamps and three souvenir sheets, nicely presented holding with numerous real letters from Station Chiefs, Postmasters, related articles and etc., VF and great opportunity to obtain comprehensive Collection of Soviet Arctic and Antarctic postal history
