| 1917, mixed franking incoming cover from Walthamstow (East London) to Kiev, franked by 2p blue, censored in England, received, but undelivered as addressed on August 26, then three months later it was uprated with a pair of black surcharge 10k on 7k light blue, paid for forwarding to Novocherkassk, red two-line Kiev marking "Taken from Mailbox. 5 December" on reverse, address bureau note was applied upon arrival, all appropriate markings and arrival ds (12.12.), F/VF and scarce, well-traveled item across revolutionary Russia . |
