Air Post stamps

The following nine lots are representing trial color proofs that were sold at the Post Office in Mexico in very limited quantities on May 3, 1929. According to Scott Cat. the total of 225 examples were sold to collectors, however most of those were used for franking of correspondences delivered by inaugural flight ?Tejeria-Tapachula? on May 15. All of them are very rare, presented six lots of multiples are unique with high probability

1929, Eagle, perforated proof of 25c in dark carmine and slate green, full OG, hinged, VF and extremely rare, quantity of issued stamps not mentioned, but it had Sanabria (1961) C.v. $3,500 in comparison of other proofs issued in quantity of 50 (per Sanabria) and priced $300
