Outstanding Intact Collection of Proofs, Essays and Artist's Works

1864-1950, over 2350 various proofs, neatly inscribed, arranged chronologically on quadrille pages and housed in five albums, including collective proofs, color trials, sunken dies, plate proofs, unaccepted designs, proofs of revenues and etc. The collection starts with Rivadavia and San Martin issues of the 1860-80?s, then continues with a beautiful series of essays and die proofs on sunken cards for railway and provincial telegraph stamps. The holding represents proofs of practically all issued stamps for almost one hundred years, including a lot of really elusive items. Generally perfect condition, we mention just insignificant toning on several items, F/VF or better. Absolutely fabulous, untouched, old-time Collection
